By 1970 The Doors had gone from a house band playing at small clubs to national stars, holding shows in arenas for over 10,000 fans a performance. This one was estimated at 14,000 attendances. This was the Doors last public performance in the LA area, although in 1971, just a few months before Jims death, they were scheduled to appear again at the famous Whiskey A-Go Go, but the show never took place. Not too psychedelic, more boxing style, but figured it should be shown here with the other LA area Doors posters. |
